Pachamama’s Wasi was founded in 2007 by Inti Cesar Malasquez and Ananda Mai with the loving intention of creating a sacred space for personal transformation. Set on 4 acres of land with expansive, panoramic views of the Andes, our land is fed with gratitude and energized with the spirit and soul of the Apus, Pachamama, and the feminine energy of the Andes. The indigenous people of the land pray for snow, which flows down the mountains, becoming water that feeds the fields and nourishes all beings.

Pachamama’s Wasi was founded on our beliefs of unity in diversity, complete inclusion, and a gratitude for Mother Earth, Pachamama. Our home’s aesthetic and essence weaves together the beauty of Peruvian culture with a lifetime of travel around the globe that is highlighted by our deep connection to India. We hope that with each visit it feels like you’re coming home.

A family of healers.

Inti Cesar

Malasquez

Inti Cesar Malasquez, Son of the Sun, is an Inca shaman, healer, spiritual teacher and musician from Peru, who guides groups around the world, as he’s done for over 40 years. Today Inti unites the wisdom of the West -- the ancient Inca, the shamans of South America, and the North American natives -- with the wisdom of the East, through the spiritual teachings of India.

Anandamai

Ananda Mai has spent many years in north and south India, her second home, deepening her spiritual practice. In addition to her experience of walking the Red Road as a Sun-Moon Dancer, her time in India has immersed her in the teachings of Hinduism, as a devoted disciple of the guru Satya Sai Baba from whom she has learned about the Oneness of all. At Pachamama’s, Ananda ensures all retreats are running smoothly, cares for the farm and garden, and is the mastermind behind every delicious dish. She is a divine starlight dancer of truth and love.

Mallku

Malasquez

After a decade of jewelry making, Mallku Malasquez traded metal for ink, when he discovered his calling as a tattoo artist. Drawn to the ancient tradition of hand poke, Mallku instantly connected to the deep meaning that ancestral cultures ascribed to tattooing, and the ritual with which it was performed. He brings his own medicine to the craft, incorporating prayers, cosmic principles, and his clients’ intentions into each unique design. His tattoos are rooted in sacred geometry -- patterns and shapes from which all universal forms are derived. He weaves his signature style with the intricate technique of dotwork to bring each piece to life.
